2017 ATV Camping Trips

A new law changes how ATVs are licensed. All ATVs must be licensed and get a metal tag. If your WATV is street legal, you may get an on-road tab to display on the metal tag. This tab will allow you to ride your wheeled all-terrain vehicle on certain roads. For more information regarding registering your ATV’s in Washington State, please CLICK HERE.  Additionally, a valid Discover Pass is required at all Washington state-managed recreation lands.

2016 WAATVA Sponsors

Please take the time to support the sponsors of WAATVA.
Washington ATV Association is an all volunteer organization. Without the generosity of our sponsors, WAATVA would not be able to host the Annual Fun Run, donate time to volunteer projects such as DNR work parties, support the Thurston County Food Bank, and more.
We greatly appreciate their commitment to providing a positive future for ATV recreation.

2017 Paiute ATV Adventure

Our 2nd trip to the Paiute trail will be EPIC!!!! In the spirit of helping everyone ensure expectations are set, I thought it’d be a good idea to put together some thoughts and preparation tips about the upcoming Paiute trip. This is my (Clay) take on what to bring, etc., to the Paiute trip and should only be used as a guide. Everyone is different, so adjust accordingly to your own preferences.

This will be a camp along the trail trip. Everyone must have their own map!!! It’s FREE!!! The link is below to purchase the National Geographic Map. Also, you can phone the Fishlake National Forest office, and request a free MVUM (Motor Vehicle Use Map), which also comes in handy. The phone number is (435) 896-9233.

We will cover over 400 miles of trails and roads and explore some new parts of this area. While we have a lot of ground to cover, we will not rush so that we can enjoy the scenery and the experience.
