ATV Camping the Paiute ATV Trail Day 1

It was our most anticipated trip of the year. Returning to the Paiute ATV Trail in 2017 had been in the works since we left from our first visit back in 2014.

Day 1 we leave our base camp, the Rose Ranch Resort located in Marysvale on Hwy 89, and head up and across the Monroe Mountains.

Although we camped at 38.735239,-111.797505, we wouldn’t recommend it. A better alternative is to travel just a few miles East on PST 056, also known as Gooseberry Route 056 or FSR 056, where there are several dispersed camp sites tucked away in the Aspen tree’s.
